Obama Signs Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell Repeal

When confronted with racial discrimination in the military President Harry Truman took the poll data concerning views of American servicemen and then just laid it aside to do the right thing. The reason for that is that human rights are not subject of majority confirmation. They are rights – period!

Amazing isn’t it that people want to serve and fight in these two wars yet conservatives have tried to undermine their rights while backing the rights of “corporations as persons”! Then there is the other meaning of “Don’t Ask –  Don’t Tell”! What am I referring to? Well George Bush’s record in the National Guard which he never finished.

The news media follows the guideline of “Don’t Ask” and “Don’t Tell” concerning former President Bush’s military record.

General Casey: Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell

Sunday on “Meet The Press” Army Chief Of Staff, General Casey said we don’t want to “stigmatize” the 3,000 Muslims in the Army due to the killings at Fort Hood. He said this because the Army’s strength comes from it’s “Diversity”. I guess that does not apply to Gay soldiers who are fighting to finish their tour of duty while their former Commander in Chief, George Bush cannot seem to find anyone who remembers him doing his full term of service in the Air National Guard! When General Casey said the military prizes it’s “diversity” I guess he wasn’t talking about prizing Gay soldiers who only want to stay in the military but poor little rich boys like George Bush who want to skip their mandatory National Guard meetings! Diversity must mean “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell” anything about George Bush and his military record!

Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell: Gays Doing What Bush Shirked

Isn’t it amazing that Gays are trying to stay in the military, especially in war time! George Bush, Jr did not want to serve in the military and even missed his required meeting quota! But you never hear the Tea Baggers, the Birthers or their fellow travelers in the Republican Party ever ask questions about our former Commander – in Chief’s service record in the Air National Guard!

I guess when the issue is George Bush’s complete service record in the Air National Guard the “Birthers”, Tea Baggers and even the news media have a slogan!
